Jarni McGuire approached Apparatus to assist her with the development of an Artwork Concept Proposal (ACP) for five public art projects located at PTA/METRONET’s new trains stations on the Yanchep Line Extenstions.
The artwort opportunities for new train stations located Eglington, Yanchep and Alkimos range from a series of decorative screens feature ceiling artworks and forecourt shade structures.
The intent of these commissions is for the Artist to create a concept proposal, including specifications of materials, patterns, colours and design, that are, recognisable on entry to the station and to enhance the existing architectural design.
Jarni is employing Apparatus to assist her with concept and design development, obtaining quotations from fabricators and suppliers, program development and preparing the ACP document.
