Kristy is a seasoned arts professional with nearly two decades of diverse experience in public art exhibition curation, and art collection management. With a profound passion for enhancing art accessibility, she has dedicated the last eight years of her career exclusively to public art, recognising its impact on everyday lives.
Emphasising collaboration and inclusivity, Kristy has cultivated partnerships with cross-disciplinary teams and Indigenous communities to infuse cultural richness into her projects. Her tenure with various local governments has been characterised by the development of innovative art policies and strategies, including contributions to initiatives such as the City of Subiaco Public Art Strategy and the City of Stirling Public Art Masterplan, in collaboration with Element WA, as well as the formulation of LPP 6.12 Public Art on Private Land.
Noteworthy contributions include her five-year role as Curator of the Mandorla Art Award, a national scripture-themed Art Prize based in WA. Additionally, Kristy played a significant role in shaping the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre, focusing on both the development of the exhibition space and the integration of commissioned public art within the building.
