Barry McGuire is a Balladong, Whadjuk, Noongar man who is a highly acclaimed artist, cultural ambassador, educator and advisor. A highly regarded entrepreneur and negotiator, Barry has worked as a consultant for local, State, and Federal Government. In addition to his role as Chair of Spear Group Holdings, he is also a Director of the Spear Foundation, a not for profit providing cultural understanding to service organisations working within the Aboriginal community of the Perth metropolitan area.
McGuire has a passion to share cultural understanding and safety across all nations of Australia. This mission has led him to work as the Managing Director of Redspear Safety, a Reconciliation WA board member, a cultural advisory member for Woodside Energy, St Catherine’s College cultural ambassador and Director of Aboriginal Choice.
